        l   The Number by Lee Eisenberg - how much money needed to retire?  That's the number,

              but it's probably a whole lot more than you thought.

        l   Marley and Me by John Grogan - love and life with the world's worst dog!  I was skeptical,

              but after reading this book, Marley may in fact be the world's worst dog.

        l   Start Small, Profit Big in Real Estate – Jay P. DeCima - buying, renting, selling fixer-uppers.

        l   A Whole New Mind by Daniel Pink - our jobs are too left brain oriented;

                time to also use the creative right brain to remain competitive in your career.

        l   Listened to Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen - hilarious murder mystery.

        l   Listened to Skin Tight by Carl Hiaasen - another great murder mystery.

        l   Freakonomics by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner - "rogue economist" explores

                economic events in unusual ways. 

        l   Listened to  Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser - author claims fast

                food industry has changed society, but not for the better.  He did some of his

                research in, and has many references to, Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

        l   Listened to  Faster: the Acceleration of Just About Everything by

                James Gleick - impact on society of speedup and time compression.

        l   Listened to summary of  Blink : The Power of Thinking Without Thinking
                by Malcolm Gladwell;  the first 2 seconds of observation can provide remarkably

                accurate insights;  buzz word:  "thin-slicing"  (2005)

        l   Listened to  In the Blink of an Eye by Pat Milton - July 1996 TWA 800 crash

                FBI probe chronicled;  neither FBI, CIA, nor NTSB can find any evidence of missile,

                but cause of center fuel tank explosion never precisely determined.  (2005)

        l   Angels and Demons by Dan Brown - I sense a theme here: man murdered,

                beautiful daughter helps Langdon solve complicated mystery through clues. (2005)

        l   The Rise of the Creative Class by Richard Florida - the impact of the 

                creative class, now over 30% of the workforce, on careers, communities and society. (2005)

        l   The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown - fun thriller - how will Tom Hanks,

                as Langdon, and director Ron Howard bring this blockbuster to the big screen? (2004)

        l   Finished listening to:  The Hot Zone by Richard Preston - deadly Ebola virus outbreak

                in suburban Washington D.C. monkey house.  Scary but true. (2004)

           Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson - short story gets to the point. 

           QBQ: The Question Behind the Question by John G. Miller -

           The Brand You 50 by Tom Peters - insight into branding yourself.  Best of the 2 Tom Peters books here.

           The Project 50 by Tom Peters - students either love him or hate him.  Different writing style.
