Paul Kulkosky's Laboratory

Welcome to our homepage!

We perform research in physiological psychology on animal and human behavior. We focus our studies on the role of neuropeptides in ingestive behavior, especially alcohol intake. Our laboratory was funded in large part by CSU-P's MBRS program, and NIH's Bridges to the Future program. Our work is noted in the NIH/NIGMS Update and at Dendrite Forest. Recent articles from our lab are online; read "Chronobiological regulation of alcohol intake" in Alcohol Research & Health, or "Interaction of TRH and CCK in the satiation of alcohol intake," in the Festschrift in honor of Gerard P. Smith published in Physiology & Behavior. Read an interview of Kulkosky by Gayle Perez of the Pueblo Chieftain on his foreword to The Caffeine Advantage by Bennett A. Weinberg and Bonnie K. Bealer.

Paul Kulkosky is Professor of Psychology at CSU-P; received his Ph.D. in 1975 from University of Washington, M.A. and B.A. from Columbia University in 1972 and 1971. We are located at:
