All sections and page numbers below refer to the required course textbook, College Algebra Essentials, 8th Edition, by Michael Sullivan.

Please don't forget that in addition to the paper homework described below, there is ongoing homework to be done on-line (at www.coursecompass.com) essentially every day. Each student must have set up access for this on-line service, using the access code provided by the instructor and the course code "poritz32676".

This schedule is subject to change, but should be accurate at any moment for at least a week into the future.

Week of January 12:

• Our comprehensive FINAL EXAM is on Tuesday, April 28th at 8am in PM 110. Please bring your calculator, you may use it — you may not use a "symbolic calculator", nor your textbook, nor any notes.
