AAAS/Merck Undergraduate Science Research Program

Colorado State University - Pueblo

The Summer Research Program

The Chemistry and Biology departments at Colorado State University - Pueblo join an elite group of colleges and universities around the country committed to enhancing undergraduate research experiences for our students. We've been awarded funding to support 4 undergraduate students in interdisciplinary research projects involving chemistry and biology over a 10-week period in the summer. Students earn a $3500 stipend and will work closely with faculty advisors from both chemistry and biology.

The grant was awarded by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Merck. They have teamed up to promote undergraduate research through their Undergraduate Science Research Program. You can learn more about the program and see the list of recipients here.

If you are interested in participating in our program for the summer of 2008, please fill in an application. Applications are due by April 1st.
